In many schools, each class will set the target of raising enough between them to fund a place for 1 student.  Food and education for 1 student for 1 year is £120. i.e. £4 per child in a class of 30 or £10 per month in total.

Paris to Brussels bike ride, September 2009, an extraordinary achievement by 49 cyclists who raised £35,000 between them.
