Issa Fowai came from a difficult and poor background where his parents had been unable to ensure his completing secondary school.  He is a highly intelligent young man and when given the opportunity, wasted no time.  With the excellence of his exam results and his general self-presentation, he gained a scholarship to China to study engineering.  What an enormous challenge and what an enormous life change?

Issa has more than risen to that challenge and has come top of his class beating all the other international students.  Even the Sierra Leonean embassy in China called him to congratulate him on his progress and excellence.
