Janet Mbayo & Mabinty Sesay completed their studies at EducAid and decided to return as volunteer teachers.  They started a new branch of the Women’s Project in Rolal in September 2007, surprising even themselves as they went around the community persuading chiefs, parents and community leaders to allow their girls to come to school.  They established mathematics and English classes for them and have succeeded in encouraging many girls to take up their education once more, working with them until they can enter the main stream secondary school.

Both young women gained sponsorship from friends of EducAid.  Mabinty started Accounting studies in September 2008.  Janet started her own studies in September 2009.
